Ok, I have been an astronomer and telescope for more than a couple of decades, but it is still hard to try to explain to non-astronomers what the hobby is all about, and why it is so facinating. To me the best way I could think of was to put together a few of my favorite photos taken by me and collected from friends over the years. Hopefully this slide show will convey some of what the hobby is all about.
